Our Story
Queen Seondeok, the first queen of Silla, built Cheomseongdae with wisdom and care — and we welcome every guest in that same spirit.
Our studio sits away from the busy tourist centre, in a neighbourhood where locals shop and cook every day. Traditional touches meet a clean, modern kitchen, with an individual prep space for every guest.
Eunkyo Choi
Born and raised in Korea, I studied at the University of Texas at Dallas — and missed home food so much that I cooked Korean dishes almost every day.
After 12 years in banking, I turned that love into Seondeok. Today I'm raising two children and still cook for my family daily, and I teach everyday Korean home cooking — and the stories behind it — 100% in English.
